Rewards & $LLAMA
Your play earns $LLAMA. Not a slice of a profit pool — a fixed rate on the house revenue your own play contributes, plus a bonus on anyone you referred. It accrues into an epoch and you claim it yourself, on-chain.
How it works
- Your play: every wallet earns the full base rate of 5,000 $LLAMA per 1,000 SUI of revenue it contributes — that is 5 $LLAMA per SUI of revenue, and it is not split with anyone.
- Referrals: you additionally earn 20% of the revenue contributed by players you referred. This is on top of their own full rate, so a referred SUI of revenue emits up to 1.2× the base.
- Launch multiplier: early epochs carry a tranche multiplier that decays over time, so the same SUI of revenue mints more $LLAMA the earlier it happens.
- Bounded: each epoch has a ceiling and each wallet a cap. Entitlement above either is forgone, never issued.
What “revenue contributed” means
Every game has a different house edge, so an identical stake does not earn the house an identical amount. One SUI wagered on dice earns the house about 0.01 SUI; the same SUI on roulette earns about 0.053 SUI — more than five times as much. Paying rewards on raw wagered volume would treat those two bets as equal, which is neither fair to the players generating the revenue nor sustainable for the house.
So your share is weighted by the expected house revenue your play generates:
This keeps a SUI of house revenue worth the same reward wherever you generated it, so no game is the “correct” one to farm. Poker is measured rather than estimated: because the house takes rake instead of an edge, we record your actual share of the rake in every pot you contribute to, split in proportion to what you put in.
Eligibility & claiming
- You claim it — nothing is pushed. Each day's entitlement is recorded against the open epoch. When the epoch closes, its Merkle root is published and you mint your $LLAMA from your own wallet on the claim board. Being away costs you nothing; an unclaimed epoch stays claimable.
- A minimum applies to your own play — but a referrer who never played still earns on the revenue they brought in.
- Referral rewards: invite more players and earn more, scaled to the revenue your referees generate.
End-of-day processing
- Timing: EOD processing runs daily at 4 PM UTC.
- Volume reset: once processing completes, all daily volume and revenue counters reset to zero for the new day.
The staking dividend (a separate thing)
The high-water mark below no longer decides what players are paid — the minting rate above does that, and it does not depend on whether the house had a good day. What the mark governs is the SUI dividend: the share of genuine house profit that funds the on-chain staking vault, which is what your $LLAMA earns once you stake it. Keep the two apart — you mint $LLAMA on your play, and you earn SUI on what you stake.
Profit only counts as profit when the bankroll climbs above its previous best:
- New highs accrue. When the bankroll sets a new record, 20% of the amount above the old mark accrues to the dividend.
- Losses must be recovered first. If the house is below its high-water mark, nothing new accrues until it climbs back above. Note that this pauses the staking dividend only — your $LLAMA minting is unaffected, because it is paid on revenue you generated rather than on whether the house won.
- Payouts are smoothed. The accrual is released a fraction at a time rather than all at once, so a single lucky day cannot drain the bankroll and a quiet stretch does not stop the dividend dead. The undistributed remainder is the buffer.
Worked example
That $400 is what stakers share, in SUI, in proportion to what they have staked. It is not divided between “your play” and “referral” buckets — those two feed the $LLAMA minting rate described at the top of this page, which runs whether or not the house set a new high that day.
